Trama: Cristian deve essere interrogato in storia, sulle fiere di Lanciano ed il Mastrogiurato, ma non ha studiato e non ha le ricerche su cui prepararsi. Allora i suoi amici, Lorenzo ed Emanuele, con molta pazienza, gli spiegano l'argomento.
Cristian, annoiato, si addormenta e comincia a sognare tutto ciò che gli è stato raccontato. Si trova catapultato nel 1327, nel bel mezzo di una fiera lancianese del mese di maggio e tra mercanti, giullari, episodi divertenti e artisti fiorentini, impara la lezione.
Il protagonista riuscirà a prendere otto all'interrogazione e con grande felicità i tre amici potranno finalmente giocare a pallone.

Plot: Cristian has to take an oral test in history, about the fairs in Lanciano and the Matrogiurato but he hasn’t studied and he hasn’t got any books on that topic. His friends Lorenzo and Emanuele patiently explain him the topic. Cristian is bored and  falls asleep. He starts dreaming about all he has been told about. He finds himself thrown back in 1327. It’s May and in Lanciano there is a  fair and he can learn the lesson among merchants, jesters, Florentine artists  and funny events. The main character gets a “eight” in his oral test and the three friends can play football at last.
