 Sándor Weöres Primary School is located within the catchment area of Budapest, 30 kilometres from the capital. The majority of parents commute to the capital day by day, which explains the remarkable number of disadvantaged pupils.

771 pupils attend the school, 60 teachers and 30 associate staff work there.

– 56 pupils in the institute fight behavioural disorder, dissocial behaviour; one-seventh of our pupils come from disadvantaged families.

– A plan of equal opportunities operates within the institutional programme to track and help pupils.

Disadvantaged pupils are the emphasized target audience in the realization of the programme. The financing source enables us to participate in programmes and tours which would be otherwise unaffordable for the families because of their social and financial situation. On the other hand, we hope the positive model will strengthen their motivation to find breakout opportunities and ways leading to them.
